The Bridal service commences with a bridal consultation and trial. The aim of this is to create a look in which the bride feels comfortable, confident and at her very best for her special day.
BRIDAL CONSULTATION
I will ask you about the products you use everyday and build up an idea of the look you are wanting to achieve. A collection of magazine clippings can be useful to allow me to see what kind of look you want this will be individually tailored to suit you. A discussion on colours, themes, dresses and the overall style of the wedding will also be included so that I can adapt to suit your taste and to ensure co-ordination. This is also the time to discuss any health concerns (e.g. sensitive skin) and for me to give advice on skincare (if required).
BRIDES TRIAL
The trial involves applying the full make-up that we have discussed during the consultation. The bride can make as many changes as needed during this time in order to create the look required. Several colours/techniques may be applied at this stage to allow the bride to experiment to achieve the required look. Make up can be deceiving when caught on camera, while it looks one colour to the eye, on film it can look completely different, therefore photographs will be taken at this stage to allow the bride to see the look on camera and to assess whether you want to make further changes or create a stronger or softer look. An individual colour chart is produced to record the details of the make-up so it can be reproduced accurately on your wedding day.
ON THE DAY
On the day of the wedding I will want you to remain as relaxed as possible so I will arrive punctually at the agreed venue/hotel/home. I will start with a full cleanse, tone and moisturise. Make-up will then be applied as agreed at the consultation. I will be happy to work to your timescale on the day and I can work with your hair dresser to ensure everyone is ready at the agreed time. Please allow a minimum of one hour to achieve the results you want.
